Community Crops Wish List

Below are various items we need for the Community Garden and Growing Farmers Training Programs.

Equipment

  • Truck that can pull a full trailer
  • Mini-Van for staff to use for Crops programming in Lincoln
  • golf cart (for getting around farm, assisting those with disabilities)
  • SLR Camera and lens

Volunteers

  • Gardening in Community Gardens
  • Production Harvest Assistance
  • Summer Youth Gardening Assistance
  • Volunteers to Assist with Composting
  • Office Cleaning Assistance

Gardening Materials

  • Heavy-duty tomato cages (or materials to make our own)
  • Hoses and hand tools in good condition

  • Water Coolers

  • Wooden Stakes (to label beds)

  • Coolers for Food-Net donations
  • Perennial fruit plants such as rhubarb, strawberries or asparagus, fruit bushes

General Policies

  • Please contact Community Crops before dropping off any items.
  • By law, the valuation of any in-kind donation is the responsibility of the donor.
  • In-kind donations must be consistent with the activities, policies, mission, goals, and/or programs of Community Crops
  • Due to lack of storage space and resources, Community Crops reserves the right to decline any in-kind donation.
  • Items that are accepted as in-kind donations by Community Crops become our property and may be re-donated, sold or discarded as need be.
